Right, this is Hangover Meshi. So, I had booked somewhere to eat in Nakameguro, but arrived rather earlier than expected, and since we wanted to kill some time somewhere, we dropped in briefly at a stylish cafe called “FRAMES.” Peering in from outside, there were people drinking, so — shall we just have the one? — and in we went.
It is right by the station, so it is easy to use, and the glass frontage is extremely stylish!
Step inside and the air of the place is cafe-like. But, just as it looked from outside, there are people enjoying a beer or an early dinner, so the mood is very easy to use and looks comfortable.
So, sat down, and what I ordered straight away was a beer and… prosciutto!!!
Mmm, does that not look good.
It is down a little because I took a sip before taking the photograph! There was no chance of holding back.
It has been warming up lately, so the season for beer tasting good is nearly here!
Since dinner was coming separately after this, we did not want to fill up, and yet I ordered the prosciutto anyway.
Mmm, splendid. There is a decent amount of it!
Prosciutto that looks extremely good, too. As you would expect of a cafe, the plating is charming and photogenic!
The moist, smooth prosciutto is eaten together with the salad, so the salt is gentle. It is delicious eaten on its own as well.
The olives alongside are quietly doing good work too!
So, we poked our heads in for one drink. We were gone again in about thirty minutes all told, but it was an extremely relaxed, stylish, good place. The pasta and meat dishes looked well covered too, so next time I should like to use it for a proper, unhurried dinner! “FRAMES” works very well indeed as a spot for a quick drink. If you are undecided in Nakameguro, do try it!
