A note on the words: the Chocolixir is GODIVA’s frozen chocolate drink, blended to order; POPMART is the Chinese toy company behind the Labubu figures, running a tie-in here. Prices are as of this writing (August 2026).

GODIVA Cafe Hibiya on Tabelog (English) — opening hours, payment details and the Japanese address are kept up to date there, not here.
I want to eat something good today as well. This is Hangover Meshi. Shopping around Yurakucho and Hibiya today. Having walked the circuit and wanting a rest, one naturally starts to want sweet chocolate. So here I am again at the GODIVA Cafe. Quiet as ever, which is excellent. The windows are wide and the sunlight pours in: a very pleasant room.

Oh, strawberry!
I am extremely fond of strawberry. Less the fruit itself than the strawberry flavour.
Looking at the cake case beside the counter I wanted one, so a strawberry croissant went on as well.
It looks far too charming. (The calories look alarming.)

There seems to be a collaboration with POPMART running at the moment. The Labubu people.

And mine, of course, is the strawberry Chocolixir.

For somebody who also loves whipped cream, this is the perfect drink.
It is strawberry chocolate, presumably. That slightly artificial strawberry flavour (and I mean that as high praise) is irresistibly good.

Look at this!
Quite a sight. It looks superb.
In it goes, and — mm, that is good. Cream, white chocolate, strawberry flakes.
With the buttery character of the croissant in the mix as well, the whole thing cannot fail to be delicious.
But the calorie count must be enormous. The acidity of the strawberry on top works nicely.
A fresh, spring-like dessert!
A very good rest. It occurs to me that one would normally pair a coffee with the strawberry croissant. Getting carried away and having a strawberry Chocolixir with a strawberry croissant may have been going too far. Spring is nearly here, and resting in bright sunlight over something very sweet is not a bad idea at all. Is it?

Tabelog lunch rating ★★★☆☆ 3.5
I ate here and paid for it myself. Nothing on this site is a comped meal.
