Chocolixir at GODIVA cafe Nihonbashi (now closed)

A note on the words: Chocolixir is GODIVA’s own name for its blended iced chocolate drink. Shine Muscat is a green Japanese table grape. Prices are as they stood at the time of the visit, and this branch has since closed.

GODIVA cafe Nihonbashi

GODIVA cafe Nihonbashi on Tabelog (English) — opening hours, payment details and the Japanese address are kept up to date there, not here.

Right, this is Hangover Meshi. I am a Chocolixir-loving human being! I mean, they are delicious, are they not. Expensive, but still.
So when I spot one in hot weather, of course I drop in. I usually went to the Hibiya branch, but while wandering around Nihonbashi — found a GODIVA cafe! They are not exactly everywhere, so finding one makes you a little happy lol

GODIVA cafe Nihonbashi

Is this what you call a street-level shop.
It is quite large. The interior is beautiful too, and calm with it. Nihonbashi indeed ^^

The Chocolixirs

Got them! Chocolixirs!

The Chocolixirs

And one more on top of that!

The Chocolixirs

From the left: 72%, the Shine Muscat Chocolixir, and 31% I think?
Well — delicious. For the record I had the 72%, and around 72% feels like just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness. And this cream is good in its own right. I want the spray canister they use in the shop for the cream! Will they not sell that on its own? Then I could keep it at home lol

Thank you for the meal!

A cold chocolate drink cools the body down and restores the power to keep walking in the heat! Regular GODIVA shops sell Chocolixirs too, but at a GODIVA cafe you can take your time, and they all seem relatively empty to me! Perhaps because they cost a bit more. Convenient for a Chocolixir lover, mind you lol I shall go again next time I find one.

I ate here and paid for it myself. Nothing on this site is a comped meal.
