A note on the words: a Chocolixir is GODIVA’s blended iced chocolate drink, sold at their cafe counters in Japan and topped with whipped cream. Minatomirai is the redeveloped waterfront district of Yokohama, just south of Tokyo, and Nikotama is the everyday nickname for Futako-tamagawa, a neighborhood on the western edge of Tokyo. Of all things — hello, this is Hangover Meshi. I had only just had a Chocolixir at the GODIVA cafe in Nihonbashi the other day lol and then I happened to come out of Minatomirai Station and there was a GODIVA cafe right in front of me! If it is hot you drop in, do you not! Having said as much, once I had spotted it I had to go in^^ I wanted something sweet anyway, so it was well timed.
It does rather look as though I am seeking these out on purpose! But the one in Minatomirai was pure chance^^
Well, the menu is the same as ever. This time, strawberry it is!
I think I got a photo with a really good color^^
So when you eat in, there is a pattern where the cup comes without the lid on!
If you are not carrying it around, that is perfectly fine. And it looks a little better, too.
The taste is, of course, the usual strawberry Chocolixir!
Asked which I prefer, this or the chocolate: I love strawberry and I love whipped cream, so this one suits me better.
Though it is not chocolate, is it, which is probably why I order it about half and half with the chocolate one.
I dropped in because it caught my eye, and as ever the shop was fairly empty and comfortable!
I got curious about where else there are, and within Tokyo it seems to be Tokyo, Iidabashi, Hibiya, Nihonbashi and Futako-tamagawa lol Nikotama is a little far, but Tokyo and Iidabashi I could manage.
Next time I am near one I shall go looking.
