A note on the words: Pacifico Yokohama is the convention center on the Minatomirai waterfront, and the North building is the newer hall beside it. Angel Cream, mentioned in passing, is a whipped-cream-filled doughnut from Mister Donut that most people in Japan grew up with. Prices are as of this writing (August 2026).

Hello, this is Hangover Meshi. It has been nothing but cafes lately — next time, a normal restaurant!
Anyway, I was at Pacifico Yokohama on an errand, and when I stopped at the cafe for a break the shop had changed! Perhaps it was refitted recently. It is called UNI COFFEE ROASTERY. I had joined the line without paying much attention, but they were selling doughnuts for a limited window. And when I saw that, it clicked.
Ah — the uni donuts ones! There is a uni donuts in Azabu-Juban, so I must have seen them somewhere.
Looking it up, uni donuts appears to be UNI COFFEE ROASTERY’s doughnut brand.
Since I happened to be there during the doughnut window, I bought one^^
Iced coffee and a whipped cream doughnut.
It is much like an Angel Cream, really. For someone who loves whipped cream this is irresistible!
A sweet doughnut and coffee do go together. Sugar topped up, and the break is complete!
I had never seen UNI COFFEE ROASTERY before, and there are not many in Tokyo. It appears to be a chain with a great many branches in Kanagawa, with plenty around Yokohama! A cafe with good doughnuts is a useful thing, so I hope they move into Tokyo^^
