Tenshige” is a tempura restaurant located in a small building near the Hie Shrine at Akasaka Station. This is a long-established tempura restaurant, and they are very famous for their oyster-fried rice bowl. I’ve been here once before and remembered how good it was, so I decided to revisit it.
There is a curtain at the entrance and it is open only on weekdays. 11:30 ~ 14:00! We got in at 11:30 on this day, so we were the first one in! It was a situation where there were no customers. It’s a little fresh.
Rice topped with kakiage, 1,400 yen
Rice bowl 1400yen
Hmmm. I’m not sure if I should go for the Kakiage Don or the Tendon. I hadn’t been here in a while, so I guess it was kaki-age donburi.
Kakiage rice bowl + miso soup
If I ask for kakiage don, is miso soup included? and. I had forgotten all about it, so I decided to ask for the miso soup with red dashi.
I felt like it would be good to have them make a set and charge 1500 yen^^
As I was the first customer, I was able to watch the tempura I had ordered fry. It’s also quite rare to be able to see it right in front of you at the counter in the front row!
Watching the kaki-age (deep fried fish) being skillfully lifted, I feel my spirits rise. And here is the one that appeared a while later.
It looks very tasty. The sauce on the fried oysters is fluffy and fragrant and appetizing.
Deep-fried prawns and small pillars. The sauce is well soaked and goes great with rice. Even if it looks greasy, a piece of yuzu in it makes it much more refreshing. It’s amazing to be able to eat such a big fried egg until the end. This is the taste of a long-established restaurant, the skill of a long-established restaurant.
Also, I think it’s better to add red miso soup because it removes the fat! Red dashi goes well with fried foods. I ate the whole thing with all my heart!
thank you very much (for your hospitality)
It’s only open on weekdays, so the opportunity to go there is very limited. If you get a chance to go there, I recommend you go for it because it’s delicious! Be warned that if you don’t get there early, you may not be able to get in due to the crowds!
