Masamune” is located on a walk from Akasaka to Tameike-sanno. This is a famous tonkatsu restaurant. This is a tonkatsu (tonkatsu) restaurant, but they serve good curry. It’s been a while since I’ve had the urge to eat again, so I decided to go for a curry.
I went there right after the opening at 11:30 a.m. because it was a very popular restaurant.
As expected at this time of the day, it was easy to get in and comfortable.

When ordering, you can order a large portion of cabbage and rice, but this time, I ordered a large portion of cabbage only. The cabbage here is crispy and delicious.
Masamune cutlet curry appeared a while later.
If it’s a curry, I’m glad it comes with cold water and mini-potesara in addition to the tea.
I looked around and saw that there were many people eating cutlet curry.
It’s a good sign of popularity.
The roux has a lot of spice and is quite spicy.
The taste is not so strong when you imagine a European-style curry. I think it’s more like an Indian curry. It’s spicy, but there’s a sweetness in the back of it. The pork cutlet is deep-fried to a crisp and juicy fat is delicious. It can be eaten with curry, but it’s also delicious when drizzled with soy sauce. The curry also has the added saltiness of the soy sauce for a distinct flavor. You can try two slices with salt!
I was full to the brim by the end of the meal. Very satisfied.

とんかつ屋のカレーとはちょっと違う本格スパイスカレーが特徴のまさむねカツカレー。本格スパイスとカレーがとってもいいかんじ。カレーも美味しいのにそのカレーに負けない脂ジューシーなふっくらとんかつが絶品でした。とっても並ぶのでたまにしかこれませんが、美味しいお店なのでまた来たいなと思いました。
